She has extensive experience working with couples and individuals and has focused most of her career on couple’s work. She works exclusively with couples who have experienced an infidelity and supervises the work of the team at The Marriage Workshop.

In my work with clients I pull from modalities of therapy including:
Emotionally Focused Therapy, Focus Marital Therapy, somatic approaches that are informed by neuropsychology.

Experience
Christa has a BA in Bible and a Master’s degree in Counseling and is a licensed counselor in the state of Missouri. While each client will do sessions with a therapist from the team all client work and their progress are being supervised by Christa. As a client of The Marriage Workshop, you are getting the care of both your therapist and Christa. The care of your mental and relational health is in the hands of a team.
The team uses skills that are rooted in Attachment Theory and experiential in nature. Services are offered online and in-person, in Springfield, MO.
